Take a deep breath.
Here is 1 creation, 1 quote, and 1 question to consider this week.
1 Creation From Me
“A light in the darkness” — a poem
(Click the play button at the top to watch)
Depression was good, anxiety too.
How the hell else could I have known what to do?
Emotions were guiding me along the turbulent way,
But I numbed them, or ignored them, never gave them a say.
Then I finally veered so far from the track,
The last straw had fallen and broke the camel's back.
But that back had to break, so I could finally see.
A light in the darkness… the path to be free.

This poem was shared during a conversation I had with my dear friend and former client, Jason Wange, on his Foodservice Powerplant Network.
The talk was called "What depression might be telling you" — You can watch it in its entirety on LinkedIn.

American Author Richard Bach on growth through discomfort:
“What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the master calls the butterfly.”

1 Question For You
If you weren't busy trying to escape them or drown them out, what could your negative emotions be trying to tell you?
If this resonated, pass it along to someone who might need it today. Let’s grow this circle!
Until next time, freethinkers…stay present, be pleasant, and have an amazing day!
