My nephew Noah loves asking questions, and he’s genuinely curious.
But doesn’t this question make you wonder what he’s seen, watched, or read to prompt him to ask that?
And it’s no wonder why so many people dislike their jobs when we’re brought up believing we’re NOT SUPPOSED TO LIKE OUR JOBS.
But I don’t believe that things need to be this way.
No one deserves to hate Mondays.
Life’s too short to hate Mondays.
And EVERYONE suffers if you have that attitude: your organization, coworkers, customers, and yourself!
It’s up to leaders to lead and not just manage.
That means caring for and challenging your teams.
It means fostering empowerment and creativity.
It also means not just liking your jobs but LOVING your jobs and leading by example…it means showing up and living as the inspiration.
